This is our second update from the beautiful country of Thailand....It
is hard to believe that the world is sitting on the brink of war when
we are sitting on the beautiful white sand beaches of Thailand.
We have done a few 'crazy things' since we have been here. Freedomgirls
is not only about facing ones fears, but also about 'embracing' them!!
The one big fear and phobia that one of the founders of freedomgirls
has is SNAKES!!! Well ladies... we conquered it! As
the pictures show, we had a huge python around our shoulders. I have
never ever touched a snake, let alone put it around my shoulders.
As you can see it was quite an experience. If you could see the video,
you would see the transition from, calm (this is ok, the snake is
relaxed and basically in a coma), to HOLY CRAP, the snake is moving,
to OH MY GOD, it just "hissed", to Nadene (the brave one),
letting go of the snakes head, to the snake going in my direction,
to me laughing hysterically - which is what I do when I am terrified!
What
else have we done?? Well, we decided that a trip to Thailand would
not be complete without a ride in a GO CART!! It is a machine with
no regulations and a top speed of 100 km per hour!! What a rush...
Nadene beat all the guys who were on the track with us, and I came
in second... TWO GIRLS kicked ass!!!! It was awesome! All the Thai
guys that worked there were screaming for us. I think we should sponsor
a race car with a female driver!
We
are now at PHUKET! It is quite different from KOH SAMUI. It is very
busy with alot of tourists.
It happened to be "gay pride Phuket" and we took in the
volleyball tournament and parade. It was quite an afternoon! The 'boys'
playing volleyball were very funny and lots of laughs. It was the
hit of the beach. Everyone from all walks of life came out to view
the games. A good time was had by all who participated and all who
watched!
We
also went sea-dooing off Patong Beach. Wayyy too much fun - and very
wet! There are several groups of young Thai men renting the sea-doo's
along the beach and now... we have many "boyfriends" all
along Patong Beach!

trip to Thailand. It can be an intimidating place for someone without
a tour guide, and with us you will have the trip of a lifetime, no
worries, just FUN!!!!
